Ryan French said that Bill's VO was the last to come in so maybe they just haven't completely added him to the game. who knows maybe he will be added to the library level. it wouldnt be the first time the final product was different from the initial demo.

That is a very good point as well and quite possible but this late in the game so to speak…very unlikely.

i can see how they would need an extra ghostbuster around to make up for whenever Peter doesnt want to go like in the scene in GB2 that ghostbuster213 pointed out but i dont think a replacement is what the new recruit is. just someone to fill in the occasional gap.

Hopefully now that Venkman's lines have been recorded we will get to see more of the original four together. Although I don't think we should get too used to huge exclusives like this. After all, you will enjoy the game much more if you are surprised by things in it. i.e. what Janine looks like, the plot, and the dialogue.

The simplest answer is usually the correct one:
It could be that Venkman has just been spending more time with Dana so he has less time busting ghosts…

I mean despite the fact that Sigourney Weaver is not involving herself with the game doesn't mean that Dana is totally out of the story if you catch my drift.

A new love interest has been mentioned for Venkman though. The girl that we are to rescue in the mission against Stay Puft.
