I'm pretty confident that the reason we haven't seen more of Venkman is simply because he is considered to be a “big reveal.” He is one of the more popular characters in the series and withholding his images generates hype and anticipation. I fully expect Venkman to be a major part of the storyline.

Now here's hoping for a multi-player mode in which you can be one of the GB's and a create a character mode!

I put my money on Venkman being in the demo at ComiCon
also since it's closer to august they will release more info on him and the rest as well.

They've shown the model for Peter, right?

I thought I saw him in the trailer, but I was having trouble telling if it was him or the new guy.

I hope he doesn't pull a “Ghostbusters 2”, and let the other guys clean up most of the messes on their own until the finale.

He's in the Sedgewick level in the E3 trailer and also in the skyscraper Stay Puft attacks in the PlayrTV preview.

Just noticed it. If you watch the new trailer for Ghostbusters the video game, when the narrator says, “So grab your proton pack”, if you can go frame by frame and look off to the right you'll see venkman. Also after he says, “Save the world”, and the new recruit is trying to catch slimer in the ball room, venkman is off to the right looking up at slimer. To really notice it you'll need to watch it in the hd version if possible but he is there.

good eye. i never even noticed him there. then again he is just standing there. just like venkman to make you do all the work …
