Game Sounds

So is anyone else chomping at the bit to find out how to rip the sound effects from the game for other computer use? The proton pack activation sound would be good for opening a program or what not. Maybe we can even finally find a good quality ecto siren blare!

My only lead thus far is a program called Audacity with the game music off. Will be testing it later.

I believe he was refering to getting the new sound effects.

Yeah, I want to get the sounds from the game. They're higher quality, direct digital copies from the originals no doubt. Not stuff we fans have done from VHS and DVD over the years.

I've got sensitive hearing and I can detect all the tiny faults in fan-captured sounds. Game sounds though are usually clean and crisp, copied from the masters. I've done it with other games before.

Or in some cases (as I suspect is the case with the game ) are recreated to make them sharper and better quality
