The PS3 is way better on many points, which I won't tell.
I own both systems and I can tell you that games and hardware itself is far superior.



About a PS3 version only, I think it could be good for Sony to have its exclusivity for one year or more, just like Bioshock.

Can't speak for everyone else, but for me hardware has nothing to do with it. Don't get me wrong, one day I will probably jump on the bandwagon with the 50 or so others who own a PS3 (if I can find space for it)…it's just that there really isn't anything in their library atm (MGS4 and Ratchet and Clank Future are exceptions) to fit my gaming pleasures like Xbox and XBL does.
Not to mention there is the issue of price. I do not have $379-500 to spend on just the system at this junctor…I bought both my 360 and my Wii as well as 2 games between the to two of them within that price range.

I don't know how much attention you pay to the world outside your window, but they still make ORDINARY DVDs and guess what? You can't notice the goddamn difference between them and blu-ray unless you're an anal-retentive asshole with a giant TV.

P.S. When Final Fantasy 13 comes out, I am gonna enjoy the hell out of it…ON MY XBOX!

No, it's definitely not about hardware, you're right.

a) no one bought the hd-dvd player to begin with, I didn't

b) dont be fanboy, as I said, I gave the ps3 a try, its just not what I was looking for in a console, i may get one later one since its a cheaper solution to play blu-ray movies, but not until blu-ray is more common or they stop making regular dvds, its not a justifiable expense at the moment.

c) RROD's and other failures in any piece of electronics are a fact of life, even the PS3 has hardware failures.

All three of the gaming consoles have there pros and cons, some areas they are better and some they are worse.

even the ps3 has flaws, so does the xbox 360 and so does the wii.

So damn true, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sony was bitter. I keep seeing different release dates, but one thing I noticed about those release dates is that the PS3 and PS2 versions are coming out first (*peter) hmmm…

Of course, release dates on sites are not official, but it kinda amuses me that the Sony consoles are supposedly slated to get the game first (and yes, I do know not to trust game release dates and all that, it just amuses me though.)
