Pft, the Nintendo article is right, as soon as the trouble with the game started, people decided that “Oh, Sony must be working on a third movie!” Ugh, I wish people would learn time and time again that Dan said the game is the movie, nothing else.

If a new film was gonna happen, it would've happened long by now.

Not necessarily. Look how long it took for Indiana Jones. Sometimes things just don't come together at a specific time, it takes 20 years to get things together, lol.

Dude. 10 or 11 years ago another Ghostbusters movie could have been done. Hell, we could have had up to 4 GB movies done by now if Murray, and Ramis had been as enthusiastic as Aykroyd about the franchise. Hell, I'm sure if the opportunity popped up Ernie would be all over it like white on rice!

Have you seen how old and out of shape everybody from the team except Hudson looks these days? It would be sad to watch, in my opinion. It'd be more like Grumpy Old Men 3 rather than GB 3.

lol. I know. I also pointed out that fact yesterday in another thread. But since I'm talking about 10 years ago instead of now, thats a horse of a different color, and size.

Did I say it couldn't have been done?

Of course it could've. I just said that just because it hasn't been done yet doesn't mean it can't be now. In fact, if anything, there's a better chance of it now than there was 10 years ago, due to the fact that there's a ton of new merchandise that could put GBs back on the map.

Back in 1998, all we had was Extreme Ghostbusters, which wasn't successful. So to suggest that it can't happen now is just ignorant. If all of this new merchandise is received well, there's a chance for a new movie, in one way or another. Saying that's an impossibility at this point, simply because it hasn't happened yet, is just stupid.
