It's even been reviewed in a GB magazine that had been hyping the game for a while, then apologised for doing so advising readers to wait and see how the GBA version turns out.

Wow, never thought the lazy people at LPS would get around to producing these games… I believe LPS bought the rights for XGB for two reasons, someone was very smart, and some people were very dumb. One smart guy was bright enough to think if they could have a piece of the old Ghostbusters pie, if and when it becomes extremely profitable again they'd have their foot in the door. This person knew all along XGB wasn't that popular, nor that these games will be smash hits. The rest of the LPS crew as I see it are idiots. (If you think I'm joking, I'm not).

To Ectodude: What do you mean by ‘other countries’ (oh excuse me, other contries)? Let me put this out their first, the freakin' US is not the centre of the world. Not your politics, not your technology, and deffinately not your culture. What you said is offensive.

And the ‘regions crap’ as you put it, is on a whole created by video game manufacturers. Nintendo started it by creating lock-out chip systems in the NES and Famicom. The result was a Japanese game could not be played on a North American NES, or European (or any combination). And there is good reason to do this, it is to stop pirates from managing to sell their illegal copies absolutely everywhere.

Incompatible games (caused by different regions), also comes from the likes of plain and simple technological differences. I personally know nothing about the Gameboy Advance, so I know nothing about its abilites to play games from other regions.

Okay, so the plot explains why Garret and Roland aren't in the game…but what about Egon or Janine?! It would be great if Egon was like a secret character or something, but that's very doubtful…

Well, if the GBA game gets released in England, it'll be in english (albeit some words will be spelled wrong from the U.S. point of view). So if there is no region stuff to worry about, there you go.

Thanks, Jay!
*munches the crunch bar* …mmmmmm! Choco-goodness!

Anyway…. now on to:
“Egon Spengler's guide to get to at least level 3 in the GBC EGB game which is okay, but could be better….”

1.Blast every ghost you see, chances are the bigger ghosts are the main boss. Once you see a fair-sized ghost, hold your beam on the ghost till it expires. (again)
2.The first boss is on top of the Firehouse.
3.The rom must have a glitch, because ign.com says you can select Roland, Edurado, Kylie, Garrett, AND Egon. You'll notice, that after the briefing screen, before the level starts, it looks like some kind of screen with profile pictures passes by in a second! That must be a character select screen!
And notice, in the lower right-hand section of the in-game screen, you will see images of the other characters with their own life meaters! I am working on how to work the trap…..
