GameCube Controller Troubles

Has anyone else been having trouble with their GameCube controllers? Specifically the A and B buttons losing their spring and resistance. I was playing smash brothers today and my A button lost all of it's springiness and wouldn't bounce back when i'd press it.

gently twist the remote, that should fix it.

Probably the only bad thing about the Gamecube Controller is when the buttons are pressed or twisted too much they tend to do that.

(Super Smash Brothers Melee is the worst game ever.)

He means it's the worst because all of the button mashing causes the buttons to wear out.

No matter, I purchased a new controller yesterday and haven't had any trouble yet.

You're not the only one with controller problems, Bo. IGNCube has a diagram to show you how to fix your controller if what you said happens. Give it a look if you get a chance.

Hey what do you mean with twisting the remote? What remote? Bwat?

I lost my B button when playing Wave Race (gotta love them stunts.)

I mean the controller. Hold it in both hands, with the right hand twist forward, and the left hand twist backward, and the twist the opposite ways. Gently, and the buttons should pop up.
