Well, they finally answered my question, what IS Stay-puft(in sciency terms) and HOW do you scan him.

You take the huge thing on your belt and you put it infront of your face, and it will scan automatically. (On a realstic stand point)

You take the PKE meter/PDA and just scan him like how you scan ghosts. lol

Well, stay puft is a big guy, I didn't expect that standing nearby him would be enough for a full scan.
