Hey just so you guys know about pre-ordering at Gamestop… I went to one of my local Gamestop's tonight and asked about a midnight launch for the game at another store (where I'd already pre-ordered it) and he said that they were definitely doing it at that store, but it varies from store to store so to check with them. I called the store where I pre-ordered it and he said that they wouldn't know for sure until closer to the release date but he said it's one of the most anticipated titles of the year and he said he was “90% sure they would” but it comes down to how many people pre-order it. So long story short, if you want it at midnight and don't want to go to Wal-Mart (not always reliable at midnight anyhow) ask your local Gamestop, but it sounds quite promising.

I just noticed that the image for the shirt that comes with the pre-order is different than it was before. It used to just be the logo on a black shirt with “Ghostbusters” written underneath. Now it's this really spiffy piece of apparel that I'm looking forward to:

Although it begs the question, what hours of the day do you work that you can't stop at a store at all, especially with Wal-Mart and places like that being open 24 hours a day?

And you're not offending anyone with your last comment, especially because it doesn't make any sense. “Eating and having a place to stay is more important than this game.” But you pre-ordered it… so you're paying the same amount for it as everyone else… so its not like you're saying you can't afford to pick up the game because its too expensive and that you have more important priorities… There's nothing in that sentence to offend anyone.

I work at an art studio from 9:00am to 6:00pm. I actually don't have a Wal-mart near me, nor a Target or anything of the sort. I do have a EB games though.

Let me explain a little to fill in the holes. I did pre-order the game, but I did this a year ago when the game was first announced. I had extra money back then. Since then, the economy has gone down the toilets for the most part and everything has gotten more expensive.

I wouldn't be able to afford the game now, if I didn't pre-order it before, because I have no money like that to spend right now. Almost all of my paycheck goes to my apartment and utilities and groceries, class supplies I possibly need, and a few other things.

I can't cancel my pre-order, and then go down to the EB games to get it or whatever because well I wouldn't have the money to do so. Understand?

Ok, I guess… but pre-orders typically aren't discounts. If you were to cancel your pre-order you would get your money back, and then spend that exact same amount on the game at EB Games.

Actually I wouldn't.

See right now I only pay $50 for GB the video. I go to EB games. I would pay $10 more. Including the gas I had to spend getting down there. So yeah ecological stand point. My pre-order is the cheapest.
