Probably Ivo himself, likely before his death, and as stated in some of the press material released, the city develops a fascination with Gozer following the events of GB 2, so likely the museum decided to bring in Ilyssa and host a Gozer exhibit.

Game cinematics are not supposed to be super long. They are short and pithy.

MGS4 suffered from this. Yeah it is a good game, but it;s only flaw is the beginning cutscene where it last for over 20 minutes….20 minutes!!

You don't need more than a 3 minutes cutscenes and that is pushing it. Everything else can be settled through the game play…otherwise why call it a game if the whole story is told in the cutscenes?

No many people have noticed this, but on the screen with the GBs on it you can see the reflection of Skanker in the top corner. That is special when you can see stuff like that. Small things that most people might not notice.

Also this is the same museum that the GB guys fought Vigo right? Wow, this museum gets a bad rap.

thoguh games with long cutscenes (kingdom hearts series anyone) are pretty good. sometimes its cutscenes that make the game worth replaying. I hope the Cs are a lil longer cause i know ill love the gameplay already.

Shouldn't be. Vigo was at the Manhattan museum of art. The Gozer exhibit would be historical, which would go to a history museum.

Maybe, but still not ones that are like a half an hour. Not even Kingdom Hearts had it that long. I rather have “in-game” cutscene because this way I am involved in the game.

I don't think it would work if the cutscene was boring and unnecessary. I am just saying if I wanted a long cutscene, I'll watch a movie.

huh…..I'll be….they look the same though….maybe I was just seeing things. Or maybe both buildings use the same design….no no you're right….the Museum of art had the glass dome.

No one is saying the cutscenes need to be 3 minutes long.

The entire intro is 1:47 long.

You can tell they did not have enough footage as the music is cut in such a way that it feels wrong. It just needed to be a couple of extra seconds longer.

From the moment the explosion happens in the museum and the logo pops up they should of faded the Ray Parker Jr. song in fully from the beginning, the bit with ecto 1 should of just been a little longer with it taking a few corners on it's way back to GBHQ and then the music would of married up nicely. You don't need to play the full song, just a small amount like in both films.
You can tell that they wanted to end the cutscene with that part of the Ray Parker Jr. song that is why they played the song from a later point rather than the beginning,

The way it is at the moment you see the car quickly and it parks up very fast and the doors to GBHQ close.

I would say if the whole cutscene was about 2:05 it would of felt right.

You don't have to sit through cut scenes all the time, whenever I play Resident Evil 5 I just press the Start button to skip them as I have seen them all countless times when I have clocked the game.

They're pretty different externally, the Museum of Art was something like a five story block of a building, whereas this Museum has a dome, and four smaller protrusions on the lower levels which would make it look a bit like a cross when viewed from above.

I always find it amusing that people state as facts that we wanted to do this or that.

Not on the first play through though. At least I don't. If I can skip it, then I will if I have seen it on the second or this time, but not the first.
