i think it is annoying when everybody cries about how we don't see anything new, and how everyone wanted to destroy activision when they dropped the game (I'm one of them)…. so we finally get all these new things, GREAT things, and everyone spends 9 pages of a thread nitpicking things. Just be happy damn it!!! We are so lucky that we are even getting this game… a game that should be game of the year!! (next to modern warfare 2) :-)

tis the nature of the beast to complain. didnt like it when ign complained bout some things but its their given right too. sometimes its a good thing.

None taken. I was only looking at the stair case anyway and they look similar fashion, but looking at both buildings side by side, there are similarities in architecture, but two different dimensions and plans.

As we know from the first film, some of the New York architecture plays on the paranormal aspect. It would have been interesting if it was the same building and also played some what of a significance.

Looking at the trailers and such and the way Egon says “the ghost are breaking through multiple dimensional portals” (paraphrasing of course) I'd say a lot of the New York architecture serves as a type of portal or antenna for the paranormal in New York.

As I said a while ago, it would have been cool if the Twin towers were in there and were a kind of “Tuning fork” to gather the spirits. Imagine how cool would it be if the GB would control the ghost by using this method, but that would be too easy.

Have you tried to slow the footage of the trailer down like near the end so you can get an extra couple of seconds to synch the music up correctly…?

I think most of the Ecto-1 sequence is a little to fast, especially how it pulls up at the end parks up.

You know the old saying “measure twice, cut once”.

The issue with slowing down a digital piece is that you experience frame rate issues.

I agree the Ecto travels really fast, but slowing down the footage will only make it look choppy.

Baby Oscar in some kind of a carrying strap … no idea.

I'm guessing Venkman was originally wearing a proton pack in the commercial - hence the straps at the beginning and him pointing to his back at the end. Why take this out?

Or possibly some sort of merchandise with the gb logo on it ?
