I'm guessing Venkman was originally wearing a proton pack in the commercial - hence the straps at the beginning and him pointing to his back at the end. Why take this out?

And to the poster who noted Winston not being in the commercial, by the way its shot (cutting off the top of venkman's head) I'd say he's probably manning the VHS recorder.

But poor Winston was in the GB2 commercial

i think i found an goof in this video!
the bay door from hook & ladder 8 changed quickly after gb2 from that 2 part thing in an roll-door!
but in the game it is still the old one!
anyway, i like the old one more!

That's a non-issue, you won't find a single person complaining about how inaccurate that may be.

It isn't really a goof. Anything that happened to Hook & Ladder 8 in the film after the Ghostbusters bought it in 1984 didn't happen in their universe… so the rolling door was never put in.

And like you, I prefer the barn doors.

Didn't the Hook & Ladder 8 have the rolling doors while they were filming GBII? I thought I remembered reading some where that on the days they filmed at the firehouse, the crew actually had to put up the “barn doors.”

Not sure, I vaguely recalled reading somewhere it may have had the Barn Doors at least when the first movie was made (if this is true, then obviously they wouldn't have been the same doors as seen in the film as those were replicas of the LA Firehouse doors).

Not sure who to ask about it, aside from probably the oldest member of the current H&L8 crew.

I think he's saying that the bay door should be the roll-up door that is currently on the Hook and Ladder 8 house, and that the picture he supplied is a reference to that. He's saying that in the video, the doors are still the bay doors when they should be the roll-up, which isn't necessarily true, as what has actually happened to the real house, in the real world, doesn't apply to the Ghostbusters universe.
