GB Costuming questions, help?

Wasnt sure where to post this, I cant seem to find a “costuming” oriented subject thread. Anyways, it's been a while since I posted, but I have finally begun working on my uniform. Im on Christmas vacation at my mom's in my old stomping grounds, Ft. Bragg, NC. LOTS of military surplus stores! So I picked up a suit for $25, pair of gloves for $3 and a complete alice pack with frame for $30 (I still have my old LCE belt, boots and elbow pads back home).
Ive put on about 20lbs since DC and Christmas dinners aren't helping but here you go:

Couple of questions. All the ARMY surplus stores around here make name tags for BDU's, I know those are smaller than the ones needed for our suits, can anyone tell me what the measurements and font should be? Im wondering if I can just get the name tag done while Im still here.
Also, I need to find some good reference pics of the pack and gun so I can start work on those when I get back home. Any pointers?
Thanks in advance everyone.

The nametag depeneds a lot on if you're wanting a custom one or a nametag with one of the names from the film.

Immediately off of the top of my head there are two names I know of that make nametags… technically there's three, but avoid a guy named Joseph Kerezman at all cost.

The first person goes by the name Kathy Pillsbury. She's good at getting her tags out and has on report been quite willing to make changes by request.

The second is a retailer called Starbase Atlanta, however I haven't personally dealt with these so I don't know if they're trustworthy.

Their Ghostbusters nametags look pretty good and the first of the two is certainly willing to do custom tags.

Unfortunately I don't know the dimensions or the actual font used as the one in the first movie almost appears to have been created when the first movie tags were made for the production… I do have a font based on the nametags in my DeviantArt gallery, but a lot of the letters we never saw have been guestimated rather than based on a real letter set.

I had gone back to the surplus store the next day to pick pick up a pair of chemical gloves for one friend and a pistol belt for another and one for myself as well. I found the correct belts for $10 each! So I went ahead and updated the pic in my first post to one that shows everything I actually have up to now.

Looking great! Just get some belt knick-knacks, the yellow “Piss-Tube” and your uniform is good to go!

Cant forget the GB logo patch though ;D

For a minute I didn't ralize you didn't have a proton pack on your back. I was looking at it going, “Something..is..missing..but..OH.” :p

Thanks! What's a good place to see what “knick knacks” I need? Are they costume specific. Also, the “leg” tube, did they all have it or is that costume specific as well?

The knick-knacks for the belt some_guy was referring to:

* Metal keyrings hung from leather belt loops
* Tape measure holder with calculator board and nixie tubes that's the ‘belt circuit board’.
*Trap holster, if you intend to build one of those.

Like Boomerjinks said, EVERYTHING you could POSSIBLY want to know about Ghostbusters props and uniforms is at www.gbprops.com

As for the belt accesories; Kingpin pretty much summed it up. You also might want to get a (Motorola?) hand radio, and one of those yellow LifeGard alarm things if you're into the GB2 look.

What Kingpin said.

The Hose is for the every ghostbuster, GBProps.com has a connector for it, and the hose itself. I haven't shopped there.
..Yet. xD
