GB D&D miniature mods?

I've started to get involved in the D&D miniatures game, and started thinking that some of the existing human minis could be customized for either GBRPG or for use in another modern RPG (also, the idea of the guys facing down a pack of dragons/dragonkin was just too intriguing for some reason). I've found a few minis that could work with minimal sculpting modification, I'm just not sure about scale (as in, they seem way too small to get any useful details). Any ideas?

The GB RPG doesn't really have a need for miniatures.

I would have to agree but i think you should go ahead and mod them because it would still be cool to see.

I'm now thinking (after discovering that there's only one of the currently-available plastic minis that will work without an extensive hack-job) that I'll be better able to find workable minis of the pewter type, although molding weapons for those might get tricky (good news is, not that much detail would be needed). Our GM likes the idea, so I guess I should at least take a shot at it.

Never said he shouldn't. It's just that he said “for the GB RPG” and the game doesn't have any need to use ‘em. There’s no game board. It would be cool too see, but again you can't use them in the actual GB RPG.
