Hey, all. OK, I JUST put two and two together the other day whilst watching Ghostbusters II for the billionth time. When Janine is zippering up Louis Tully in the Ghostbusters uniform toward the end, and she looks all hot over him and says, “You look amazing in this,” the uniform he wears reads “Spengler” on it. Now, I always noticed that, but it just occurred to me, could that be a nod to her crush on Egon in the previous movie? Maybe she finds Tully so hot because he's wearing Egon's outfit?

What do you folks think? Am I reading too much into this? Was this an obvious thing from the start? I want to see those two rekindle their awkward love-ignore relationship in the next flick!!

It was louis in the suit that got her all hot, i dont think spengler on the suit had anything to do with it. they scraped the love story of the first one so it would be a nod to something that technically didnt exist in the first movie

Maybe it is a part of her fantasy.
