Just to clarify on those wondering about Graham Crackers:

Sebastien Clavet
-Graham Crackers Clarification
November 10th, 2005

The email notifications were sent to all customers who have ordered through this website.

If you ordered through http://www.grahamcrackers.com then you will not recieve a notification email from us (or them) as we simply don't have your information. We apologize for any inconvenicences this might cause.

However it should be noted that Graham Crakcers is a serious and well respected comic book store chain that has years of experience in online ordering and they manage their database with great care.

This means you don't have to contact them to make sure your order is still valid, if you haven't canceled your order with them then they already have your information on file and your order is still valid.

You only need to contact them if you have moved and need to have your order ship to a different address than the one you originally gave them when you ordered.

Other than that they will ship your order when they recieve their own shipment from us!

So to answer, orders are still valid.

Okay, new rule: Until the book comes out, no bickering. :p Your bickering priviledges are revoked.

*scam alert*

realize who you are ordering the book from…

I was scammed out of $32 by this guy and still no book or refund.

The guy is a crook, just look at this:

http://www.tformers.com/article.php?sid=2594

I preordered back in February of 2003 for my transformers book and I still have nothing.

I sent for the refund, and still nothing.

Please be wary… and save your money

In relation to the Transformers Genesis book.

I'll be honest… I did find out about this some time ago… but this was back when the comic series was still coming out, and so I felt at the time that Sebastien had been able to get over the issues that had dogged Gensis, and so that it was an issue of the past that only concerned him and the Transformers fans. I'd amost forgotten about it until it was mentioned here.

Though, it seems now that it's an issue that better be met with.

I would like to say though, Genesis wasn't a comic series, it was an art book (Specifically a selection of artwork and not comic sequential art bound together). It didn't have a four part comic series before it to help financially back it. Okay, so it looks similar to the Legion Hardcover. However, this time around a limited run of 1000 books have been set… orders won't run out as… it seems, that there's less then 1000 orders. People aren't likely to demand a refund for a book they didn't get as most people are likely to get their books.

PayPal has a limited number of days they can issue a refund: 30/60/90…?Once that time expires, you have no option but to go directly to the retailer. Read the PayPal section on Refunds for details.

And while I can't say it's been proven (I don't want to make excuses), but there are a few sites out there that claim Paypal isn't as secure as is claimed. I don't know the legitimacy of these claims… but it's something to keep in mind with everything else.

AvalonStyx, thanks for your concern… considering what happened you had a valid concern… but from personal experience with eBay (Who created Paypal), that if you're wanting to get a refund from them you have to get onto them pretty much the next day… but these things take several days to sort out because you're trying to get in contact with the person in question… and then before you know it the period's gone. It might be the same here, that people left refunds too late… I don't know, just relating a personal experience that was incredibly similar.

i know you go through paypal for refunds and whatnot the problem was that it was a pre-order, paypal doesn't acknowledge pre-orders.

So by the time I found out that the book was constantly backed up and not available it was too late for me to get a refund through them.

I had to go through the retailer.

In which I am still waiting for a refund.

Honestly, screw the book, I just want my refund which is still taking a long time. It was promised me in March of 2004, and what today's date again?
