I think that since this would help speed up the release of the book, we should have a say in design ideas.
Personally, I'd like to see scenes from the film illustrated by the comic artists. Full-blown, well colored, high-quality art. That way it's not “just another cover”, which at this point, I'd like to see something really special.
And when do we get a head's up on all of these “special features” from the book? I'd like to know what the big huzzah has been about all this time.

I like your idea about the movie scenes, that would be really cool. Or even just new original art.
As for when we'll get to hear about the special stuff, I would think that will stay a secret until people actually get the book, no reason to spoil the surprise since we've already waited a year.

Instead of wasting time on this lithograph stuff, how about this:
Rather than a collected edition hardcover, Seb switches to a trade paperback style softcover and refunds some of the purchase price to those who ordered it?
That, and getting the damn ongoing series off the ground.

First of all, Seb isn't wasting time with the lithos, he's merely trying to offset costs without asking for charity donations. Secondally, I paid for a hard cover and I WANT a hardcover. Thirdly, how exactly do you expect him to pull off the onging series if he doesn't have the startup money?
Look, I know it's frustrating, but he got the miniseries out and frankly, that's the biggest thing we've had since GB2. So if you want to support the comic series, which I'm assuming you do by your comment on the onging series, you're going to have to calm yourself down. You're not the ONLY person who didn't get their TPB, okay? We all didn't get it. He's working on it, and the lithos are to be ordered AFTER the trade comes out, but I expect you'd know that if you bothered to read Seb's comments.
