I need some cash and was thinking about selling my copy of the Ghostbusters: The Return Novel and the Issues 1-4 of the GB Legion comic with the variant individual character covers also. it's out of print and thats what they have it priced as on Amazon, now why anyone would buy it for that I do not know. But I suppose if they continue to price it that way, someone must be buying.

It's a collecting thing. It's not any different than paying a near million for a copy of Action Comics no. 1 (a comic where Superman first appeared). You'd be suprised at how much some things can go for.

It's a collecting thing. It's not any different than paying a near million for a copy of Action Comics no. 1 (a comic where Superman first appeared). You'd be suprised at how much some things can go for.
Let me rephrase: I understand why it's selling for so much, but all things considered it's a abhorrent book (IMO at least) that really shouldn't be sold for 2 dollars much less 200.
But otherwise, as Peter Venkmen, so nicely put it: it's a collectors item as it is out of print and thus fetches an inflated price in the market.

Why would you need a copy of it? 
I've have a copy of it and only actually read some of it, and it started out pretty good. My sister read it, and said it was ok. I haven't touched it since I found out it was out of print. :p
