Hello everybody, I played the game yesterday after 1 year and a little idea came into my mind… here is the first result:

I'm going to be honest. It never occurred to me to try that. Question: Does everything revert back to normal as you move ahead with the game, or does some of the damage you did stick?

I don't think the damages are permanent, as the level model is always reloaded.

Btw, the same thing can be done outside the library level.

Do you remember any other levels/places where you are not allowed to use the proton pack? I'd like to test them out aswell.

From what i remember, if you go up the stairs the rookie puts the gun back on the pack. How were you able to execute this?

Yeah, the same thing happens to me. I try to go back up the steps and the rookie rehangs the thrower on the pack until I go back downstairs. And, you say you can do this outside the library as well? My proton pack never gets “hot” until after the doors shut and I go up the stairs. The front doors to the library are never open when my pack is turned on so that I can shoot. How do you accomplish this? Is this a PC hack? Or are you performing this on console? And if so, which one?

The video doesn't look like a console version. I'd say it's PC.

Yes, it is pc version and yes, it is a game hack. I do this with a custom trainer which “locks” the proton pack when it is “ON”. Outside the library it is possible to use it after Winston says “Switching on the packs”.
If I get some more free time I will try to investigate a better technique so that it is possible to use the proton pack in other places where you shouldn't.
