That's a suggestion that I find horrifies me beyond the capacity for rational thought.

Come now, it's just like Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, or even Prime Evil and Apparitia.smile

I way I understood what Winston said in the Slime labs was that he was just making a educated guess that since mood slime was present in the holding tanks, and their was pumping machinery there also, that the mood slime the team encountered two years before could have come from Shandor Island.

Also neither Egon or Ray made any comments about Winston's suggestion being true, therefore I consider this just random speculation.

Since the ghost world is self was a creation of Mr. Shanndor, I thought that perhaps black slime might be a brain child of his as well. Something that concentrated with evil, that can rip a hole into the ghost world, and create sprits on it's own just can't exist in nature. I understand it's a product of the ‘supernatural’, but since the first time the Ghostbusters ever encounter it is when the mandala nodes were triggered - that probably indicates that it's a creation of Shandors. What I think is - Shanndor had to mix all the various types of slime to get something so potently evil.

Also I don't think the slime from GB2 is the same as the same as the slime from the game.

Slymex. Terrible stuff.

Yes…that idea sounds pretty good. This is the exact same kind of world-building we have to do over at the FGB Fans' Forum.

I myself like the thinking that Shandor did what the GBs do, except his was a really unholy fusion of science and dark arts (much like the original Victor Frankenstein, if you think about it—and I mean the one from Mary Shelley's book).

I wonder if he had anything to do with Arthur's discovery of the stone tablet in the SEGA game?
