Actually, I found that fake GB III part I script about 5 years ago. I haven't seen it anywhere since then.
But basically it began with the Ecto-1A (which had graffiti all over it) going to the Yankees Stadium, and the Guys (Peter, Egon, Ray, and Winston) had to bust Babe Ruth. They tried but they couldn't, and the fans started throwing food at the GB's. Then the guys just quit Ghostbusting, and Egon went back to the private sector, Ray went back to his bookstore, and Peter couldn't do World of the Psychic anymore, so he became a used car salesman. Then Ghosts started coming back a few months later, and they went back into business, and started making more money, had a commercial, and then came…The Fantom-be-Gonners.
Yes, I know it's spelt Phantom, but they spelt it this way. The Fantom-be-Gonners were a fake rival Paranormal Investigation and Elimination company. They came on TV with their own commercial, where they advertised their “Ghostbuster” scuff remover, which removed the fire marks the Ghostbusters left on walls during busts (remember the Sedgewick Hotel?
), and they claimed to eliminate Ghosts, and said something like, “Ghostbusters, it's a new age, go back to the eighties, cause the Fantom-be-Gonners are here!”. But truth be told, the Fantom-be-Gonners were fake. They put Ghosts in people's homes, and put on a fake electronic light show, as Peck once said. This was even featured on a Talk show that was in the Script.
Then Egon and Ray learned about a gateway to Hell somewhere in Manhattan, and so they found it, and went in! Peter and Winston stayed at the firehouse, and watched Hockey while they made a mess on the floor with food crumbs. As Egon and Ray explored the Manhattan's Hell counterpart, Ray's Dad appeared, and Ray trapped him. Then he told Egon that his parents died when he was nine. Of course we all new that from GB 1 and RGB.
Then some bum on the street asked them if they could kill Superman with their Proton Packs, and Egon said no, but on Krypton they could Slice him like Oscar Meyer Bologna. (Another re-used quote.
) They went to Madison Square Garden's Hell Counterpart, and saw Demons playing Hockey. It was the exact counterpart of the game Peter and Winston were watching. Each player's name was another name for the Devil. Egon and Ray got back to the Real Firehouse and took Peter and Winston to Hell with them. They all found the Firehouse's Hell counterpart, and went in. It had been abandoned sometime earlier. It was a huge mess. They went to the basement, and the Containment Unit's pull-out-door where the traps go, was opened. So they realized someone had opened it a while ago, and all the Ghosts escaped. The power hadn't been shut down, like in the first movie, though. Then they looked in Tobin's Spirit Guide, and it told a little about the Gate that they had used to get into Hell. They said it could only be used 3 times, and that after those three times, it would never open again! They were trapped in Hell! And that was they end.
The “Author” of this fake script said that 9 months after the release of this “movie” in theatres, part 4 would come in theatres. There was no mention of a Franchise, New Equipment, Dana or Oscar, Louis Tully, or the training of a new team. Janine was still their Secretary, in the script, but she only appeared about 2 times. Basically it was a horrible script, and I'm glad it was fake. Very little creativeness was shown in it. I swear, even a 5-year-old could do better than that. Even someone that doesn't knowa thing about GB could have done better thatn that.
That script get's 5
out of 5 b/c a
is the equivelent of a thumb down in the rating system.
