NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stiller,Wilson,Ferrel, and the other guy just are not right for this. If they were to take over it would turn into another DODGEBALL, WEDDING CRASHERS, BLAH BLAH BLAH type of film. Those names shouldnt be associated with this franchise. I can imagine the conversations in twenty years time.

“ Do you wanna come over and have a Ghostbusters marathon at my house? ”

“ Yeah thats cool, but not that crappy ben stiller one. ”

Humm… I think all of us know that if there's GB3 with original actors and young people… The film will be an adaptation of Extreme GB.

I don't see why it's an obligation for it to be an adaptation of egb realy.

- New (and absurd) packs.

No, they will keep the same. that's an order

- Young people will be the GB
- Original GB will be like old men (like Egon in EGB, he alwais is in Firehouse!)

Hue, I don't care if they do them one, five or ten years in the futur. I never use the words “old men (or old women)”, in my univers. The new recruits won't be the only active ghostbusters in the franchise. For the simple reason the original ghostbusters will face hell on earth.

Working with containment unit is a bad idea and, one day, there will be a need to built another one… and another one. That need a lot of power and lot of trouble you can face in return.

(Let say each containment unit does an electromagnegtic field, causing, one day, an electrical storm over the city. Lightnings strikes down to the franchise. Power down, Hell breaks loose. The original ghostbusters are not enough to face the nightmare so they decide to built more franchises. Let say five. Each with one original ghostbuster in it. Why five? Because Janine will lead one. She will be pushed to do it; she has experience then they need her to do another franchise.

Each franchise will hire up to three or more recruits. Each original ghostbusters will train their recruits around the firehouse by releasing one or more ghosts (it can be by using the moodslime). After, they follow their recruits during missions. So all franchise will work on their own. At the end of the movie, they'll join up, all togheter, to face the big boss. In each ghostbusters movie, they do a series of clip. They can use that idea to show all the progress the recruits do during the training.)

***Bill Murray said he wants to disapear at the begginning of gb3. It's clear to me that he don't want to be the main attraction again. So he can play during the first minutes of the film and then disapear in one of the franchise just to appear at the end of the movie to help the others to save the day.

Now you will ask: what made so much ghost to make so much containment unit. Let say there's a burried portal somewhere (maybe under the ground of spook central or somewhere else). In GB1 and 2, they only close a portal. They never clean what's behind. Something does not leave the souls at rest. So let say, by entering the portal, they will enter in another dimension. There, they'll find a sacred artifacts (maybe a big stones engraved with burning magical letters saying: death is life, until my goal I won't rest, and those against me will become slaves). That artifact will be far behind an army of darkness. And in between, something like Gozer or Vigo or both or the devil or something like them. Imagine the war, magic vs proton pack.

When they will destroy the artefact, all the souls will return to heaven. The dimension will disapear and they will find themself in the middle of nowhere. Why not a island in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle? That will explain all those disappearance and the mistery will be solved: the evil was hiding his artefact on this island, he surrounded it with his magic so none will return from there. Now that everything is over, the gb use their C.B., give their position and return home for a big celebration. No more ghost on earth and ghostbusters are part of history and their technology are exposed in a museum.

- Perhaps the ECTO-1 is substituted for a new car

Don't see why, but there will be a need of new ones for the other franchises of course. So wow, we'll see new vehicle.

- New logo far from aesthetics of GB1 and 2 logos (Perhaps is a logo with other symbol, or with a different ghost)

Hey, don't be so negative. The original one will still be there.

- New theme that won't be able to compete with Ray Parker's theme

Never a new theme will be able to compete vs what we loved. There will be a new theme, that's for sure. They need to be careful with that one. I don't want to hear marylin manson or rob zombie. Something electrical, heavy music can be great, why not a mix. Oh, calmdown now. Something using the gb1 theme but mixed in a hardcore way. I dont know how, but if it's made correctly, I'm sure it can be good.

- Terrible script if Aykroyd and Ramis aren't the writers

Aykroyd and Ramis will be the writers. It's their project. If they follow the concept I gived, man I think it will be awesome.

Can you imagine the final opinion of the public with that kind of film???

Made like that? We got a blockbuster

One more thing, I realy think they should ban the use of the slimeblower. Moodslime, even charged positivly, cannot hold that positive energy for a long time. It's moodslime. So everything can influence it. It's very dangerous and should not be used. Very dirty also :p

Let me put it this way:

Is there any good enough substitute for Dan Aykroyd or Bill Murray nowadays? Not that I know of. ;]
So if they won't say ‘ok, I want to be a part of it’, there's actualy no chance for a movie with the same spirit, if it'll have any spirit at all…
The Stiller&Friends version of cast isn't my cup of tea as well, but i'm waiting for the movie anyway.
It could be funny/interesting, even if crap. ;] It won't beat the original, originals are always better cuz they're first, but it's always a GB story. ;]
Maybe it'll be familiar to the new Star Wars saga he he…
As long as the original versions rox, that will be just another sci-fi movie, so i'm not worry, the original is safe somewhere in the 80s.

For starters, I think a GB movie is a great idea, I am all for it. However, I am not a fan of replacing original cast with new people and keeping the same names. With that said I am not a huge fan of stiller being a choice. I think him along with Will Farrell have been played out. I think Vince Vaughn would work out because he has the type of sarcastic remarks and one liners that Bill had. Atleast if you cant have the same cast, then keep the same type of humor. I know they might be too old for the cast that Harold and Dan have in mind but I think decent replacments for Ray and Egon would be Jeff Goldblum and Hank Azaria. They have experience with scripts dealing with science terms, I cant see myself watching a movie where stiller is talking about paranormal investigation and take him seriously.

Well, I'm a little wary of keeping the same names, but after that fact I'm happy with that cast. Vince Vaugh is really funny but he does give me the shits, so I think he'd be better at being Peter than Ray. Ben has Ray's good guy charm. I love Owen Wilson (because I'm a big girly girl) but I don't know the other chap. Lil' help?

im a fan of the original cast idea. where they are joined by a few new recruits, but still remain the central focus of the movie. but as for the replacements…
first off, the actors your naming are powerhouses now. after vaughn and wilsons wedding crashers raking in 200 million in the box office, they'll be commanding pretty hefty salaries for their work on any movie. sony will not pay for them to be a part of gb3.
plus, if you take lesser-known actors to fill the spots on the cast, the originals will not be overshadowed, and it will give the movie more of the comedic feel of the first movie, not of the potty-joke comedy of today.
thats my two cents

My thoughts exactly. You don't want any ‘powerhouses’ today that have been stereotyped to buggary. ‘Known’ faces would take the spotlight away from the originals.
