If you could customize your ectomobile it would look something like this. :-O

what game are those screen caps from?
My guess is Gran Turismo, but I'm usually wrong about that kind of stuff. I know it's not Project Gotham or Burnout.

I hope, if one day they do a gb game, that the game will be thrilling, with great visual effects, and the possibility of a challenge mode so you will like to play it and play it and play it! Like:

you start in the firehouse on second floor. The alarm rings. You need to get your tech the fastest as you can. Then the car to drive, in a 3d world, to the area that will always be different (Yes, a bit like GBDoom, and with todays technology it'll be awesome!). The challenge on the road will be to run in a alert mode, trying not to damage other car, people or building. Or the driver will get a penalty (cash, maybe jail) and it will lower your men for the next missions for a limited time. Like real life. No big ghost apparition on the road, to make it a bonus. And the destination will be sometime a house, sometime an industrial area or commercial. You will need to play the right way to save the place as well. A new ghost, almost each time, will require the right approach and technology! And the time you take, beginning at the firehouse, will = the money you will receive(can be 0$!lol) and the carnage the place will have when you arrive. Oh and why not a little chat to negotiate on the price with the client at the end?

Why not a mix of gta and fatalframe or something better… it's to easy to do damage in gta.

Not a game where the salesperson needs to talk about “aLL tHe gReAt FeAtUrEs” the game has to get people interest on it. But a GREAT GAME that will get interest.

I want that game! I paid like 200$ for my PS2, I deserve a GHOSTBUSTERS game!

Well, that's what I said in my other post.

You said sewer? Why not… but only if the area can fall on you if you zap it too much, get electrocuted if you zap the water or anything close to reality. But I don't want a fight vs any rats or animal or any creatures far from being a ghost.

i dunno man, sounds a bit complicated for a video game. in GTA when you put the sirens on when you stole a cop car/motorcycle people moved outta your way, but the idea of the money would me cool. like if you did damage the car you would have to pay to repair it, and if you don't have the money to repair it you would have to walk or take public transportation to your destination.

the rpg sounds more realistic, except of the turn base why not have it like the fighting style in KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic)?

and weren't the slime packs only made to stop vigo? i dunno, maybe there are ghost that posses people. you'd have to ask Akroyd and Ramis since they own all the rights to the GB.

I bet you could pitch it to them and they would listen, if you did it right that is. my suggestion is to get a poll. like go to video game shops and set a like 10 yes/no questions on GB the videogame and GB3 (let people be aware there is a 3rd idea for GB). Then pitch the idea. I would definately help out with the polls, and i bet many othere people here would. you can't really pitch an idea without numbers.

REALLY GOOD IDEA THOUGH!!! (^_^)

Want ideas for a game? go to the thread entitled “My Vision”. It's extremely detailed though.

Nothing new realy. It was in the Commodor64 game and maybe NES.

you don't have the money to repair it you would have to walk or take public transportation to your destination.

Why not Janine or one of the ghostbuster's personnal car? Not fast like ecto-1, you cannot carry much equipment and the number of ghostbusters on the site will be lowered to two. Without a siren, you won't be able to burn a red light without taking the risk of car accident, roadkill or police ticket!

kotor

Never tryed that game. So I can't see. An RPG is good. But I don't want to level up in that game. No sir! No level! With the money you will be abble to buy technical parts so you can upgrade your technology, the car and the containment unit. But not a market like in sega genesis with a ol scientist selling an all made weapon, detector or stuff. You will be able to use the parts and customize it to do: or new items or an upgrade on the original item (without changing much its original details) by placing the object in the right place.

You will be able to walk in the firehouse from the basement to the roof… and be able to get under the car to do repair (sometime you will to use the joystick correctly to do a good welding or your car will broke on the road. Why not losing a wheel while you're at it!)

There will be also a room made only for research and study becose you will need sometime to think a little to solve a puzzle to help you find a weak spot to beat a ghost problem. Hey why not some enemy where you will need to deal by talking to the ghost! If you don't keep a right conversation, the ghost will turn mad and you will need to trap him. If you do it correctly, the ghost will simply vanish in the air.

I'll try to find more idea another time.

Some game has more than one cd… but I realy don't see the size of everything that large. Hey, Kingdom Heart has a lot of option in it and it only need one cd! There's always a way to fix thing when it comes to technology.

It can be interesting to have one cd for the firehouse (research department, small talk, car repair, containment unit, taking calls, bedroom time and stuff… yeah why not put a virtual time in the game…)

And another cd for the action; you plan your road trip and try your best to survive for all the «answered call» you made.

Lol, why not push the thing for a third cd just for the big final! That concept is nothing new… but of course if everything can hold on one single cd, it'll be better. And I think it's possible.
