GB1 was made for 30 Million dollars.
I am pretty sure GB2 was made for the same.
But in this day and age, a movie like GB3 would cost more, for effects, actors (Bill himself would problably demand $20 Million) and many other factors. As said before, $120 Million was what Dan had thrown as a ballpark number (or maybe more so).
A lot of people bash Bill for not wanting anything to do with the movie. Since he owns one-fifth of the franchise (or so I have heard), he has part decision in whether the movie gets made. He said no. I criticize him for that. But I do not criticize him for not wanting to be in the movie. He just ins't interested. He wants to continue with other projects.
No big deal, but by the way, I don't think any movie in history has ever been made for $600 Million. Think about the debts!
GB3 is dead, for now. If there will ever be a GB3, I don't foresee it in the near future.
But I haven't lost faith yet.
