Now, i know all of you are gonna give me the “IMDB” flaming. but, AMG never lists anything untill it is sincerely legit, hell, Allmusic still hasnt listed a few upcoming albums so there either ontop or behind, but never going by said rumors, it is run by actual critics and people that know whats going on,unlike IMDB which is run by mostly fans and readers. Or maybe, im reading into it a bit much.

Anyway the release date (as stated by that little stink) is 2010, but maybe thats just the most likely release for the film. anyway, heres the link.

flame me if you want, i just thought it was something legit.

Nothing is “legit”, until it comes from the horses' mouths (Sony, Dan, or anyone else who is directly associated with the film.(*peter)

I would assume that the entry is entirely speculation.

Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky supply the script for what is rumored to be the handing down of the mantle from the original team to a new, younger squad of supernatural wranglers.

Note the ‘rumoured’ bit. I'm guessing they're just going on what they know at this point, so while Ghostbusters 3 is ‘In Development’ the release date is speculation and to be honest it's a long ways of being a confirmation that the film will ever see the light of day. But still, at least it isn't ‘OMGz GOATBUSTER 3 COMIN NEXT YEAR. ITS GONTA BE BRILL!’

Yes, i was avoiding, coming off as that little stink as much as possible,

Anyway, it just came as a surprise to me, since they never list ‘rumored’ films, so it gave me a little spark of hope.

And if it doesnt get grin lit, they'd be letting alot of people down, especially since it went to press and now everyone is expecting a third movie. But, it could happen it could not, its a 50/50 chance.

I've read the Ghostbusters 3 Imdb and it says a 2010 release. The Information is correct on this page. I've looked under Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyds Imdb and it says Ghostbusters 3 2010 and Harold and Dan are the Excutive Producers of the movie and they will also star in the movie to so check it out and you will be very happy about this because I'm very happy about this to. In 2010 we will finally get a Ghostbusters 3 and it's about time!

IMBD is NOT even close to an official source for news, considering that the majority of the info is user submitted, so until Dan, Harold, or anyone else says anything more about it, don't hold your breath!…they don't even have a completed script yet for Pete's sake!(*egon)

This just in: Ghostbusters 4, Ghostbusters 5, AND Ghostbusters v. Predator v. Jason v. Freddy are all confirmed because I said so. I can't wait, it's gonna rock.

I heard Ernest gets Gangbanged comes out in the fall, I believe it was said on the interweb some where. I know I can't wait, can you?
