I guess there's nothing to do about this whole Bill Murray situation, but suppose Bill died. Suppose his estate/family held his rights to Ghostbusters. That way, they could possibly decide to let Dan, Harold, and Ernie carry on with GB3. But obviously, that will probably never happen.
P.S. I'm not Movies205, but I think s/he already made that clear.

Let me point out that Bill Murry hates to do sequals. He said so himself. Before GB2 every cast member had a dinner at Dan's home and talked about it (the sequal), Bill didn't want to do it. I don't know what changed his mind, but he did.

Actually I heard that Bill was not going to be reprising his role as Bosely in Charlie's Angel's 2. Heard that off a radio station here where I live that said Charlie's Angels 2 was being projected for a summer release next year.

I hope and pray that Ghostbusters 3 will become a major motion picture some day. I visited many sites over the years involving the popular discussion topic. I, myself believe that if(a far fetched possibility)that they could could manage to get a Ghostbusters 3 out with the origanal characters. Sure it would take a long time and cutting of a lot of red tape, but I would rather see the new movie witn Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis than seeing some new people playing Garret or Kylie. Most of the origanal actors have left show buisness but….. I think they would come back for another go. Lets all hope and pray for Ghostbusters 3!
