Gb3 news from Weaver!

I really don't think that there is any need or necessity to bring back Dana or Oscar Barratt for the next sequel. Those characters should be left in the past. They're not integral to the Ghostbusters story. I know I've said it before but Dana should never have been in Ghostbusters II. It was a terrible idea and adding a baby to the story just made it even worse.

The only characters I want back are Stantz, Spengler, Zeddemore, Venkman and Melnitz. I want to see a movie concentrating on these characters moving through a story which has some originality to it. There should of course be a new paranormal threat and some kind of human problem that the Ghostbusters have to deal with which is just as problematic as the supernatural occurance that they have on their hands.

God, seriously guys, this little punk is back? How many times does he have to add nothing to the convo and just talk about GB3 and IMDB as if its all for certain before we can finally be rid of him for good? He clearly doesn't get the message.

If I had any control over it he'd have already been permanently banned, and I believe the next time it happens will be the last.

The age of the Ghostbusters is something I've wondered about in regards to them still working. The actors are all in their late 50's early 60's. At this point in their lives, would they still be at it?. Putting on the boots, running around with the proton packs on their backs?. Aren't they close to retirement age?.

This could be why Murray wanted to walk to Weaver. Maybe he hopes that from the time of the last movie, to now, that Venkman would have grown up and settled down. I can understand this line of thinking. As much as I love these guys, I'm not sure they need to still be swinging bachelors. I would find it a little sad to see these guys still at, married to their work. I'd hope that in all that time, at least one of them would have found someone.

still, it would be funnier, if none of them ever found a life outside of Ghostbusting. and their aging wouldnt matter much since the life has become so routine and worn in that it requires little skill, which would set up for alot of great comedy.

I don't know how I feel about her being in it… I just hope that if she is, they don't make the big bad ghost go after her again. Once was fine, twice was pushing it, three times would definitely be too much.

I strongly encourage everyone to ignore Ghostbusters3willrock. I speak from experience that it will just end up being a circular discussion that will just leave you feeling frustrated and insulted.
