GB3 script completed?

I doubt very much that its the third draft. Its the first draft of the third movie, hence “third script”.

People are confusing the fact that he's probably saying “script for the third movie” as “third script”.

There's no way that two drafts of the script have flown under the radar… especially considering they said they were originally expecting the first draft to be done in late summer.

Maybe but maybe not on the third draft. IF somebody wanted to keep it secret, they could. As long as they get something good in final draft, I don't care if they do 100 drafts.

Good to finally hear something new again about the script status. I thought it was sounding dead again. Once all the parties approve of this, I can't see a salary deal for the main guys being a problem. Sony/Columbia have a strict salary ceiling of initial cast/crew participants to only encompass the first 25% of a films grossings. Not like how the initial GB3 movie rumors of 10 years ago made the negotiations the main problem then. Now thats not going to be the case. The participants can only take a small amount now. Remember the rumors back when Ghostbusters 2 was out that the film apparently was not profitable for Columbia as all the main parties took most of the films grossings from their salaries. Columbia didn't see much on their end, which really sounds so bad to come out with nothing in the end.

According to Proton Charging, Reitman has the script now too, and seems optimistic about it getting made and… he wants to direct and produce now apparently! Great news in my opinion…

I can feel it, we're very very close.

Interesting, and thanks for letting us know. I just hope Sony greenlight the project this time.
Nothing on the movie horizon could top a new Ghostbusters movie.
