Sorry. I aksed my cousin's friend who's 14 if he liked ghostbusters and he said it was stupid. He used these words to describe what the ghostbusters do. “They suck ghosts into Vacuum cleaners.” I didn't say much to him after that.

Who is Ghostbusters 3 Gonna Call? Aziz Ansari?

New information that Columbia Pictures has their eye on comedian, Aziz Ansari, star of NBC's Parks and Recreations.

Sources close to the project have told me that Columbia Pictures is circling Aziz Ansari for the long, long, long gestured Ghostbusters 3. - courtesy of bloody-disgusting

Outside of Parks and Recreations Aziz has been stealing scenes with small , but hilarious roles in Get Him to the Greek and Funny People. The later, surprisingly not as funny as the title would have you believe. But Aziz had a few memorable scenes as the raunchy stand-up comedian named, Randy.

I would certainly like to see him become one of the ghostbusters. Which is a project that is still waiting for Bill Murray to sign off on. Bill actually is one of the owners of the rights, and he has to give the sequel the okay before anything can move forward. Obviously if the script isn't up to Bill's tastes then they shouldn't do it.

So far the speculation is that the third movie will center around Oscar, the fictional child of Bill and Sigourney Weaver's characters. He was possessed by a demon in a painting in the second installment of the franchise. But in the third he'll be all grown up and be leading a new younger generation of ghostbusters. They will of course need the help of all the original members of the team, so expect to see all your favorites from the first two films.

I like Ansari in certain roles, but I have a hard time seeing him fit in with the Ghostbusters style of comedy. Not that I really believe these rumors, anyway…

This is the first I've heard of this. I mean, sure they've had a few, a lot of shows do, but you're making it sound like it's a basis for the show, which it is not at all.
