<– VERY EXCITED!

This is excellent.

I'm going to start wearing my GB3 shirt more often now. (It's already as a bumper sticker on my car!)

Bill Murray: “It’s just talk. No one’s sent me a script.” (full interview)

Ernie Hudson: “I think we probably shoot it in 2010” (Release date: May 2011)

Ivan Reitman: “try to get a draft” (that everybody likes)

I'll put this in here instead of making another thread:

The status of the script is, hopefully, writing and completing it within the next few months. It’s closer than it’s ever been now.

Ernie Hudson hasn't been approached by anyone yet. Don't beleive me, listen to him tell me his thoughts on Ghobusters 3:

Possibly untrue? Aykroyd has called Murray to stop being a jerk and holding up GB3 production:

WHO YA GONNA CALL DEPT.: DAN AYKROYD called old pal/“Ghostbusters” co-star BILL MURRAY and snarled: “Stop acting like a jerk!” It’s getting spooky-ugly as Aykroyd, Murray, SIGOURNEY WEAVER, HAROLD RAMIS and ERNIE HUDSON struggle to birth their proposed “Ghostbusters 3” sequel because Murray – despite agreeing to do the film – has suddenly turned so cranky and mean, he even refuses to answer phone calls. “Producers, who’ve given Bill script approval, need his cooperation, but they can’t seem to get him on the phone to talk about the script,” said a source. “He’s even told them his character should be killed off in the first couple of minutes of the movie! Bill’s famously hard to handle, but he’s really gone off the deep end since the breakup of his marriage. That’s why Dan, who knows him best, phoned to read him the riot act, but…!” Stay tuned.

News from the world of Bill Murray…

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=65522

"You know, maybe I should just do it. Maybe it’d be fun to do. Because the guys are funny and I miss Moranis and Annie and Danny. Those people are some people that were really, you know, I miss them. I think that’s really a big part of it."

Well, he seems like he's back to sort of being into it. Encouraging, but guarded… as always.

It is pretty frustrating that we aren't getting any straight answers from him. Right now, it's about 50/50. Hopefully he finally just decides to do it, because the sole reason this didn't happen a long time ago is literally goes back to him.

I want to see this movie as bad as the next guy and i know their are a ton of people who are more of fans then i am but give me a straight answer you know
