I think that the soundtrack should have the following:

New Ray Parker Jr. song

Rob Zombie-Feel So Numb

Linkin Park-In The End

BigdumbFace song, Not Limp Bizkit

System Of A Down-Spiders

Classic Ghostbuster Backround Music

Personally I wouldnt mind hearing some of that good ol 80`s happy music smile

Alien Ant Farm-Movies

Tenacious D-Tribute

Class5 has my vote that the Weez should write a tune for the soundtrack. Who better than the master of Geek Rock Rivers Cuomo to write a song about the scientists turned heroes?

maybe they should just make Ghostbusters into a punkrock/gothic venture! I dont think the old men would settle with that kind of music even though we do. lol wink

I have Kazaa and I'm really into punk and I just downloaded a new ghostbuster song that was made by a punk band and it sounds awesome and it give the ghostbuster tune a brand new beat I also feel Senior Ghostusters idea on the soundtrack and who they should put on it an Outkast song would sound madd hott. But anyways just search audio than type Ghostbusters Punk and the song will come up and trust me it's somewhat worth downloading.

Ok…firstly Rob Zombie HAS to be on the soundtrack…maybe some Manson and NIN. I actually think that A Perfect Circle could fit in nicely as well…but I know the soundtrack will SUCK, becuase they'll put some trendy generic crap rock on it…I'd like to see a soundtrack similar to the Matrix with some electronica on it…maybe Lords of Acid or Praga Khan. Rammstein perhaps.

Some Ska would be cool, like some reel big fish.

This would be my soundtrack. I probaly don't enjoy most of these songs but I think the songs have to fit the theme of the movie.

1) Ray Parker Jr - Original GB's theme

** For the sake of tradition

2) Heroes by Wallflowers (not the Dylan version)

** Need this somewhere to describe our heroes.

3) Break On Through by The Doors

** It can be played somwhere when the guys are heading to bust some spirtiual ghosts.

4) Do The Evolution - by Pearl Jam

** possibly played during a scene where the ghosts are tearing up the city

5) Can't Explain - The Who

** the guitar intro would be nice just as they are about to bust a ghost

6) Huey Lewis & The News - Walking On A Thin Line

** Put this on there just to settle the war between Huey and Ray Parker Jr. Could use this for an 80's feel. For nostagic purposes.

7) Getchoo - Weezer

** Play during a montage of busting some ghosts.

8) Instumental piece

** throw out an instrumental piece of music (It's GB 3.. it's needed)

9) Temple of the Dog - Say Hello To Heaven

** Played during the end of the movie.

10) I Don't Know - Ozzy Osbourne

** This could be used between scenes as the song talks about “choosing to win or lose”. Could be played during a ‘planning a strategy’ scene.

11) Nice To Know You - Incubus

** Not a real good song but could fit a scene where they bust a bad ghost.

12) When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin

** The great drum beat would be nice somewhere in the movie and the guitar riffs are nice w/ the harmonica like sound. Plus it's a nice song to end any album/soundtrack.

This is my idea for a great soundtrack for GB3.

Tell me what you think.
