GB3/MIB2?????

Dan Aykroyd said once that they didn't make ghostbusters 3 for the same reason that they don't make Men in Black 2.

But now there will be a men in black 2 could this also mean that if MIB 2 will be a hit that they gonna make also that ghostbusters 3 movie…( I hope it )

Who owns the rights to the Men in Black Franchise and who makes those movies???

Sony hold the rights for both movies. But because they made MIB2, they probobly won't make GB3 (unless it's VERY successful) simply because they are so similar. No mivie company won't to put out two movies so similar to each other right away.

Hopefully MIB2 will do well in the theatres, its very hard to make a sequel that can match and/or exceed the first film that hit hard in the first place.

Comparing Ghostbusters to Ghostbusters 2 I would say that the first movie had better scripting and the second movie had a better picture, action, sound fx, etc. GB3, if at all possible, would have to be a mix of both.
