GBIII...in four-colour form?

Question: What do you do when you can't see your favourite subject as a movie or TV show?

Answer: COMICS!!!

Has anyone considered the fact that there may be a niche for the boys in gray (or tan, if you like) in the realm of comics?

Think about it: a lot of old 80's properties such as the dreaded He-Man (absolutley despise!!), G.I. Joe, and (shudders with disgust) ThunderCats are being revived as well as the TMNT.

I think it'd be great.

image Comics would be the ideal place for our heroes. They deal in all kinds of supernatural stuff: WitchBlade, the Darkness, Spawn, and Route 666 (which toted the beautiful ‘59 Caddy Hearse on the cover of the first issue).

Plus, the crossover potential is limitless! Ever wanted to see Jay and Silent Bob team up alongside Egon, Ray, and Peter? How about revenge on He-Man for stealing the ’Busters thunder within the first ten minutes of GBII? Anythings possible!

Also, we'd probably get the likeness of the actors rather than the RGB characters.

I say we start a petition for GB in the Comics. Who's with me??

1. Already happened once.
2. There's one company, Wildstorm I think, that does want to do Ghostbusters.
3. Petitions rarely work, but it wouldn't hurt.

Think petitions would work for persuading Sony to consider GB3??

Petitions probably wouldn't work on GB3. Plus, it's already been tried way too many times. But I'd still like to see another comic, which is something petitions might work on. smile

Truly, the GBs have been in comic form before. But how cool would it be to walk into your favourite book- or comic-shop and see a “Ghostbusters” comic sitting right there on the rack?

I emailed Marvel about it, specifically, Joe Queseda himself (the editor in chief), y'know, just to see what they'd say? I proposed an Ultimate GB title. One that followed Ray, Egon and Peter thru high school, how they became friends, and early tests of the Ecto-1 and the Proton Packs, much like Ult. X-Men and Spidey. I think that was last year. I still haven't got a reply. I had emailed image, too. No reply from them either.

Well, let's keep trying!

Letters might work, but who has the time and money to send them in, one after another? E-mail would work much better perhaps? A GB comic would be grand if it followed the guys before and during thier adventures in the GB business.
