I really appreciate everyone's help. I'm actually planning on migrating off of the phpBB platform. I'm thinking about going with IPB or Bulletin moving forward.

yeah there was one porn spambot a minute ago that posted a porn link. One so far….I deleted it. Other than that, things have been pretty quiet thus far. Time will tell…

My only guess is that the answer to the question is too easy, and totally numeric. Spambots may be spitting out random numbers and every once in a while one gets lucky and puts in the magic 365 in the right spot to get through.

EDIT yeah its definetly not working by any means… (*egon) after the porn one posted. As far as I can tell, the only change is spam users don't have any of the profile info that immediately gave them away.
