some new footage and the boss is a spider well half human half witch spider. .

The hotel has a portal to the ghost world. where you fight this boss.

Basically right out of that RGB episode.

this is actually my least favorite reveal so far. Good concept but it doesn't look like there was a whole lot of strategy to that boss fight…

Not like they showed much giving that it was crammed in between those Alpha Protocol videos.

Oh yeah, the spider boss kinda reminds me of the Spider Xivili from Oblivion, just thought I'd bring that up for no reason.

I wasn't all that impressed with the Spider Witch. It felt more “Resident Evil” than it did “Ghostbusters.”

A lot of game developers do this, they create so-called “easy to beat” mini bosses, that are designed to cause the player(s) to let their guard down. Hopefully, that is the case, and there will be a little more of a challenge to defeat her, but the gameplay still looks KICK A$$!!!(*peter)

I have to admit that at first I was scratching my head at the idea, I agree that it seems a little more “Resident Evil” than “Ghostbusters,” mostly from the animalistic ties the character has. It's a little more corporeal than you usually associate with the franchise.

However, the elaboration got me interested. The fact that it's just a “form” and it's the demon/thing behind decades of shady murders at the Sedgewick is creepy-cool and very X-Files/urban legend-ish. Not to mention the fact that she's found on a “hidden” 13th floor which is a den/nest of evil spritual energy is also damned cool. Always been a fan of hidden passages/places.

And I guess this taking place at the Sedgewick means that it's in the first/second level, which would explain why the battle doesn't look that strategically complex.

However, I'm sure it won't seem so odd/unGB-ish when we get the proper story elements and the script/lines/etc backing it up. I'm sure Dan and Harold can make it work in a GB-ish way, as it was their idea.
