His model did not change. Nor did his textures.

his eyebrows are a bit thicker. and it looks like hes wearing eyeliner. its not lighting, lighting doesnt make my eyebrows thicker.

You are also not a 3d video game model where your skin / hair and how they react to light depends on a lighting model that is just an approximation of real life.

His eyeballs could simply be casting a shadow on his eye sockets.

It's out there, it just isn't visible from that angle. You can still see the curved curb that surrounds it through the doors farthest to the right.

More comparisons I found on the web … The “old” scene looked better I think …

I disagree, the newer shot is far more atmospheric/appropriate for the lighting for that time of day and Stay Puft looks more realistic.

Yeah I wanted to point that out. Looks still a littled odd/weird to me.

A bit late to be saying that now as it's been part of the game mechanics for half a year, I think.



It's funny, back when the first theatrical trailer came out, we all loved it. The models looked great and the action got us stoked.

Now the new footage is out and it really does strike you how those older shots were used like previsual tests in motion picture production.

A friend of mine works for a gaming website and his boss is having him do a review of the wii and ps3 versions. hes getting a demo with in the next few weeks i believe. i think early to mid April and he said i can have the ps3 demo when his done. so that'll hold me over till June hopefully.
