as this isnt an updat or an unlockable i thought it be ok to make a new topic.

i was wonder if anyone else here would like an extra mission where you are the marshmallow man and u destroy the city? if anyones played ratchet and clank theres giant clank mode and i think somthing around those lines could work. imagine doing all the things the big guy could. also having the ecto 1 chasing around after you. (^_^)

Maybe we need “Ghost Theft Auto” (Which I'm sure has been an idea brought up here and other places many of times) - Much like the game Ghost Master but more in the style of GTA. Cause enough mayhem and the Ghostbusters come after you.

Intresting Idea. I really loved the Giant Clank mini sections of the Ratchet and Clank games so I know exactly what your going for. The only problem I can see is what would be the point. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea…I like it a lot, it just seems sorta pointless unless some unique twist to the mode could be thought up.

I never thought of that, if it's made correctly, and with a 360º camera angle, with a “zoom in/out” option, that mode can be interesting. I can already see the big guy walking slowly, each step makes him look heavier, the buildings are trembling around him and the road is damaged behind him… Without a warning, particle streams strike the giant from the ground and buildings. StayPuft uses his hands as a shield, melting slowly under the fire. You see more and more ghostbusters on the ground, getting in position, the more damage you create.

Yeah, it can be fun (^_^)

Why not add another mission called “save the portal” while at it!
You'll need to hurry to spook central and climb the building before it's too late. :p

Plain and simple, for fun. It IS a video GAME.

Don't get me wrong. I think it would indeed be fun. After all your talking to the guy who played Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction solely for to blow random cities away with Air strikes and cheat codes.

I just meant that whenever a mode like that is in a game, usually but not always, there is some sort of purpose for it. I can name a few exceptions to that but it just seems like it would be cooler if they thought up a purpose, twist, or something for it to make it more intresting / fun.

Lol. Cool. Well I guess the point of that mode would be to defeat the Ghostbusters, I suppose.

Could happen when you cross the streams or something.

I think the point would be the visceral joy of wanton destruction. Let's face it: some days you just want to stomp random people for the sheer pleasure of hearing them squish beneath your feet. This way you wouldn't get locked up.

And don't look at me like that. You've never had a bad day where you're so p!$$3d off the only socially accepable release is firing up your copy of “Doom” and indiscriminantly mow down a few waves of digital zombies? Why not? It's fun…

It could be done like playing as Venom in Ultimate Spider-man. You play to get destruction points basically but the more destruction the more your wanted level goes up.

Say like level 1 police (useless but funny to see them try right?) Level 2 Ghostbusters Level 3 Ghostbusters using the flying vehicles from tv show. Level 4 more advanced ghostbusters.

The purpose is as followed.

- Replay value
- To try and beat your high score
- To show what happens years after the ending. Since you are a new recruit it could be said they get more and have more sections E.g like the multiple police stations in gta.
- Fun
