Well… not exactly. Not the ranks of “prop builders” (although technically I built my Ecto-Goggles, so maybe not technically pack builders…) Anyway, I'm rambling and need to get to the point of this, in all its amazingly awesome glory.
I didn't build it. It was built for me by my friend Jack (formerly JJS8807 on GBFans), who I met at the New York Comic Con this past year. I won't give details of the exact amount of money and all of that, but I will say he gave me what I consider to be a fantastic deal, and communicated with me constantly throughout. Everything could not have gone over smoother…
And the best part came today… I have never had a chance to revisit my childhood to the degree that I did today. It was truly a dream come true to finally unpack and strap on my very own Proton Pack.
And now, for some pictures…
Notice how giddy I look… Like I said, dream come true.
And here are 2 shots of me wearing it with the goggles I made, and my uniform (with GuntahKaela's hose connector):
And finally, a shot of the back of the pack:
It has a few minor touch ups for me to do (the ion arm cap had fallen off in shipping, but is back on now)… Some very minor touch ups/things for me to add.
I still can't believe that I have a proton pack sitting in my house right now. I can't wait for our Halloween party here this weekend, and to go walk around downtown during the day on Saturday. This thing is truly beautiful, and I can't thank Jack enough for the fantastic job he did for me.
