I don't even mind most of the CGI stuff added in with the original trilogy, but I just can't be bothered to give Lucas more of my money. I'll stick with the DVD release. Looks just fine upscaled.

And for the record, Lucas “lost it” many moons ago.

Wow. I was actually looking forward to buying these Blu-Rays, but now? Think I'll pass. I'll try to buy the series as it was originally seen, as that's what I loved.

I can't believe no one told the old bastard that adding that scream was a bad idea. To go from an anti-establishment, corporation-hating, independent filmmaker to the giant money loving whore that Lucas has become is more than sad.

I smell a fan campaign to pressure Lucas to release the theatrical versions onto Blu-ray in the works very, very soon from now.

You are just NOW thinking Lucas has lost it?

Anyway, yeah, all the tinkering he has done to the original series has irked the hell out of me over the years, but my tipping point was in RotJ when he had Sebastian Shaw removed and replaced him with Hayden Christensen
