Here's a little something I whipped-up in the last two weeks… it's a fan trailer for Ghostbusters done in the style of 40s and 50s comedies:

Good job! That came out really well. I know the Bob Hope film was “The Ghost Breakers” (that one is in my collection) and the Ghost Busters theme was from the 70s TV show, but what were the other films you used?

There are couple of easter eggs in there as well… for instance, I used one some of the original concept art for the Ghostbusters logo and Terror Dogs design. They are hardly noticeable, and I thought they blended-in pretty well.

It was taken from the film Scared Stiff, which is a remake of Ghost Breakers.

Oh, that needs to be on someone's “Best of the Web” list one of these days. I love what you've done with it, taking the concepts of the GB movies (proton streams, etc.) and toyed with the ideas to make them look like the effects of a ‘40s/’50s movie. The use of the Flubbergas gun as an early Proton Pack was hilarious.

Nice “trivia track” and a nice fake trailer.

It's stuff like this which is what makes Youtube the great media outlet it should be… if only we could get rid of those videos of teenagers singing badly to well known music…
