Ghost busters illuminati?

Sadly this is what the freemasons believe in. They believe that architecture and energy are in fact connected to one another.

Is this what they believe because you've asked some members of the Freemasons what they believe in, or is this what you believe they believe in based on what you've found on the internet?

And I don't know how you can describe that as a “Illuminati pyramid” (I believe it's actually referred to as the “unfinished pyramid topped with the all-seeing eye”) when it's not incomplete, nor topped with an eye. If anything, it's more likely a reference to Egyptian architecture, as is the set of doors at the pyramid base, which even feature Egyptian figures.

Also, how is a checkerboard pattern masonic? Are we to start looking at sinister connotations in chessboards?

See, this is the problem I have with these topics, they draw conclusions from the most thinnest of so called “proof”. A upside down star (which for Bill Murray, there's no indicator of the right way up because the rear design on the flip cards is reversible) suddenly becomes a “masonic satanic pentagram”, dust shooting out of the shattered windows of the World Trade Centre as one of the towers collapses suddenly becomes an “explosive squib” and the absense of visible stars in the old Moonlanding footage suddenly becomes “proof that it was shot in the studio”. It's claims being made by people who are ignorant of how some of the ways the world work that lead to the overabundence of conspiracy theories, shaping a story and shaping the evidence to fit the story because that's the only way they can find a way to understand what's happened/happening.
I'm just going on record again to state that despite unlocking this topic on request (I was the one who actually unlocked it, not Chad), I think it's a complete load of nonsense.

You are completely entitled to your own opinion dude. Thanks again for unlocking this thread. I'm just pointing out coincidences/similarities, there's nothing wrong with that. I even stated in my last thread that this was in fact NOT 100% proof.

As for the Freemason checkerboard, Here is an example:

You do realize that's been a popular pattern for floor designs, right? You shouldn't be assuming everything in that image has some sort of significance beyond being an artist choice by the artist… otherwise we'd start putting cryptic significance into drawing board and corinthian pillars.

Sometimes a checkerboard pattern is a checker pattern, and seeing as checker taxis were as common in New York in the 1980s as rabbits are numerous, it's not really surprising one showed up in that scene… or in Columbus Circle when Stay Puft appears… or when we see Dana for the first time.

Who knows, maybe you're right about the floor plans. remember, what I'm saying isn't to be taken as 100% fact/gospel, it's just what I noticed.

About those pillars, I just noticed them in this scene:

The pillars are obelisks, which were egyptian. You got obelisks and a pyramid in the Gozer scene. I've always wondered why egyptian themes were used here since Gozer is sumerian. I still love the design of the building though.

The two items in that screenshot are Obelisks (There's actually a real one from Egypt in Central Park, a twin to one that stands on the bank of the River Thames), not pillars/columns.

A Corinthian-finished (this usually refers to the elaborate piece at the top of the stack) column can be seen as “B” in that painting you posted. The painting doesn't feature any Obelisks as far as I can see.
