what happened to those they even mention the viewer that was installed so how do you use it? and also why was the haunted floats at parade as seen in the trailer removed??

could there possibly be any downloadable content and added stages?

Skankerzero our friend can you shed some light on this if you are still here??

thanks..

Awesome game either way!(*peter)

I was wondering the same thing about the Thanksgiving float too. That caught my eye and I thought it would be a cool battle. But like movies there are always little things in trailers we see that just end up on the cutting room floor. If you notice what you see in the trailers it was before they went back to redo the scenes.

This was mentioned elsewhere, but I'm too tired to find the thread atm. Long story short, the parade stuff was just something they rendered for the trailer.

What about the viewer?

I was curious about this too. If they cut the Thanksgiving parade level, or if it was never meant to be a level, shouldn't they have cut out the Mayors line referencing said battle?

Also, why have Ray come right out and mention a containment unit view screen if there really isn't one…

Maybe DLC?

Though it would be cool to have a viewer on the containment unit, the whole purpose of such was to research and view ghosts…but since you can do that on the PKE Mk2 there is really no need for it as it makes it sort of redundant.

Despite that…I would love to have the viewer added in a DLC

Well, the thing with the viewer is that you blow it up at the very beginning. Ray tells you that Egon will fix it in no time, but it never happens. So, DLC may allow yo to view ghosts.

They show a float going crazy at the parade, but you never actually go and fight at the parade. Harold Ramis said in an interview that the parade was his idea, but had to be cut for some reason. I'm assuming this is the level that would hve ended with the Ghostbusters dancing down the street.

P.S. One of the cutscense in the middle of the game should have been a music montage with the theme music to keep with the theme of the movies.

the scene of them dancing down the street has been confirmed as a “just for fun render”, this was never intended to be in-game according to skanker

According to this page (http://www.ecto-web.org/~spookcentral/scblog/index.php/2009/06/15/ghostbusters-video-game-pc-hidden-featur), there is several references to the Thanksgiving Parade level, taking place between the Museum and Return to the Sedgewick levels. That was taken off the PC version of the game, but I would assume the 360 and PS3 versions still contain it.

Another page (http://www.ecto-web.org/~spookcentral/scblog/index.php/2009/06/15/ghostbusters-video-game-pc-video-list) also lists all the videos on the PC version, two of which are described as parade cutscenes between the Ghostbusters, the Mayor and Peck. Anyone that has the PC version can access them.

You assumed wrong, the 360 nor the PS3 versions have the parade level in any form.
