“honestly if you ask me we dont need a game section till we get some games/mods that are made for the standards of today. a mod for games like quake3 unreal tournament ones that don look lik sh!t.”
Hey, are you referring to my game? Geez, man, that's a bit harsh (even if you're not referring to my game specifically, which considering how bad it looks, I have a hard time believing). I've got three reasons why your statement is flawed.
1. Games don't need to be up to the standards of today and all 3d-ish and jazzed out and whatnot to be good.
2. (for my game specifically) I'M STILL WORKING ON THE DARN THING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! (Sorry, but I can't let people badmouth my baby like that)
3. You want a Ghostbusters Q3A-mod? Good luck. Creating mods for those engines is a long, involved, complicated process. You'd need a seriously committed team, and it would take months if not years to make a good Ghostbusters mod for those engines.
Cripes, man, why can't we keep things simple? I feel you're asking for way too much. Just be happy people are working on games at all. And yes, I can take criticism, as long as it is constructive (not “My God that thing is ugly”). Yeesh, man, just, geez, I can't believe how little respect you show to the great games of the past. Technology does not a good game make. Ungrateful little yuppie larva…
