Ghostbuster Pozers

ok, ive had this thought in my head for a while. as soon as the games come out there are going to be the guys who pretened that they were ghostheads all along, ill bet the number of members for gb sites will increase with those members having no real insight except the game. now little kids are really the only exception but i was curious how everyone else feels about this.

Yea. We had a similar type of idea floating around GBHQ a while back. I wouldn't doubt seeing people like that coming about here or gbfans sooner or later. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody like Patrick showed up.

I don't know, that doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Why would they buy the game if they didn't have any previous interest in the franchise?

because to them it looks like Luigi's mansion on steroids LOL!

seriously though , thats how the the franchise keeps going though right?

obviously new people are seeing the films and stuff all the time.

It could be even good for the franchise if Sony decide to refresh it with new merchandesing things.

Well I turned up just before the zootfly game came about (and fell through) so I dont think it will have that much of a negative impact, I learnt of lot of my GB knowledge from reading stuff from here.

Why worry? It's always good to get some potential new fans who were introduced into the GB world by the game and found themselves here.

nothing wrong with new blood, lads. We don't want to get all Old Manics fan/New Manics fan with the GBs. We all started somewhere.

New fans are fine. I think what people are worried about is the people who are going to claim they've been fans for forever, and are the biggest GB fan ever and bla bla bla.

I also worry about all of the newbies coming in and not reading existing topics and the board being flooded by all these repeat topics. I think that's the general worry that most people have, not that we'll have new fans.
