Oh man, I really want to see this! I never saw it in the theater the first time.

I am assuming it is going to be a limited release. If that is the case then I probably won't get it anywhere nearby.
If by chance we do happen to get it…I will be kicking myself in the rear for not having my pack finished for it.

Slap a tag on the end and that makes it a re-release trailer?….

I guess Sony thought it was the cheapest route to go, unlike the re-release trailers for Back To The Future, Jurassick Park & Top Gun which went that extra mile.

I didn't say it's not worth the experience. I said I just probably wouldn't pay to see something I've seen already and can watch for free anytime I want. That's just me, I don't really like watching things in theaters when I know what's going to happen. And honestly, I hate going to theaters sometimes because the crowd inside can either be a bunch of idiots who can't keep their mouths shut, or people that actually decide to stay quiet. I'm just really neutral about it, no big deal.
You should do what I do. I usually go on a weekday afternoon to see a movie. Like around 1pm or 2pm. There's hardly anyone there at that time so you pretty much have the whole theater to yourself. Friday evening is when it's the fullest.
But back on topic I will probably go see Ghostbusters in theaters unless it's out of town. I don't think anybody will take me 2 hours drive to see it.

Seeing as how that trailer is tagged with the facebook page, I think it's far from official. If it were from Sony it would also have links to their sites.

And seeing as how the GB facebook page is run by “StayPuft4Eva”, I kinda question how “official” it really is…

I just had an email from SONY all about Ghostbusters back in the theaters and they say follow Ghostbusters on Facebook & StayPuft4Eva on Twitter, so looks official to me.

I stand corrected. Jeesh…..you'd think they would put a bit more effort into it…

My thought exactly, I thought they might of drawn inspiration from the Back To The Future re-release trailer from the same era, which really got people talking. Although I guess with the BTTF re-release there was a new Blu-Ray release on the way, but it's not exactly that hard or expensive to spice up a trailer.
Also just having the trailer on Facebook is a little weird, thought they could of put out at least a nice Quicktime 1080p trailer, but the studio really did things on the cheap.
