Ghostbuster returns to theaters next month

Whens it running in Canada? For the Edmonton theater listings, I can't see it listed on the new Friday movies listing for the whole of next week. Cineplex and Empire don't show anything. ‘Cause it should at least point out the one airing for the 13th. Like what is the extent of the Canada screenings? Any other Canadian fans in the know? Or is Canada only get one airing out of those 3 selected days? Sure as hell ain’t getting any info from that ParkCircus website. It only lists UK and Austrailian international listings. Like what the hell? I was upset we didn't get Back the Future (altho I did see it in Feb. at some genre movie re-releases for one week) and Jurassic Park were only for the UK theater re release. Didn't know about Top Gun. Please if anyone knows please tell us Canadians.

Those listings weren't there earlier in the week when I looked. I also looked at Empire Theatres at the time, the only other chain in my area, they had nothing. Vaughn is the closest theatre to me and it's about a three hour drive, one way. I was kind of hoping for something in the London area.

Who ever is behind this is doing a bad job. It would have been nice to have the schedule last month instead of a week before it comes to the nearest theater towards me. I bought the tickets online even though I have to work. Hopefully my boss will give me the day off.

Yeah Calgary's the same thing for me but honestly who in their right mind is gonna drive out to the farthest or nearest theaters to see a movie we all have seen so many times? The other thing is that the Great Digtial Film Fest that I saw Back to the Future in February. When I looked up Ghostbusters on I think Cineplex's site, it had Ghostbusters listed as part of this fest last year on the search results. Perhaps this is why we ain't getting Ghostbusters on a more larger release in Canada, ‘cause it had been a part of that film fest and the theaters may have thought it ain’t worth it or too recent. I didn't even know about that fest til this year. No clue GB was a part of the one last year. Either way this sucks.

Well tribute.ca has even more listings for the movie theatres run by Cineplex.

http://www.tribute.ca/showtimes/movie/all/ghostbusters/1738/?datefilter=-2

Coliseum, Ottawa - Ottawa
Colossus Toronto - Woodbridge (Vaughn)
Scotiabank Theatre Toronto - Toronto
Scotiabank Theatre West Edmonton Mall - Edmonton
SilverCity Polo Park - Winnipeg
Scotiabank Theatre Chinook - Calgary
Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver - Vancouver
Galaxy Cinemas @ Saskatoon - Saskatoon
SilverCity Hamilton Mountain - Hamilton

Still only three theatres listed on Cineplex's website. Important to note that the Montreal theatre is no longer listed but another Toronto theatre added.

Went and saw it last night in Robinson, PA. It was awesome to watch it in a group. The funny part for me the most though was when there was the more adult jokes and my 7 year old kept asking me I don't get it whats funny, why aren't I laughing? I told him he get it later.

I just want to know though for all those who have gone out and seen it did the people in the theater clap when it was over? I personally thought it was weird to clap for a movie we've all seen 100s of times.

Everyone clapped at ours. It was great to hear people laughing at alot of the jokes and lines you are so used to. It makes it feel fresh again.

The picture didn't look a whole lot different to me but the sound was amazing.
