Well, it could be argued that those didn't really leave as similar a legacy as the ones I mentioned… :p

However my list was just a quick snapshot of what the 70s gave us in film.

I forgot about those. And Ammittyville Horror. Anyways, I find some of the movies from the 70s to be kind of boring. Dirty Harry was okay but not my favorite.

Okay. I don't really care for a lot of Oscar winners anyway. The Godfather won oscars and I think it's a boring movie.

After reading this I can only think of one reason why you think it's boring, too much talking, not enough action or pace right. Godfathers is one of the films that you really have to listen to in order to appreciate.

I have seen Jaws but it's been a long time. I need to get around to watching it again. Probably do it after I'm done with Collateral. Anyways I don't like being called biased. And you know just because somebody likes different movies than you doesn't mean anything. To be honest I like The Pagemaster and Last Action hero but the majority of people on the internet don't like either very much.
I even like all the Universal Studios Monster movies from the 40s which most people don't. But I do like Gone with the wind.
