Spook Central's Ghostbusters 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway is now open.

To help celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest ghost movies ever made - GHOSTBUSTERS - the long-running website, Spook Central: The Ghostbusters Companion, has gone all-out to give fans a plethora of prizes to honor the momentous occasion. Spook Central has teamed up with the leading producers of Ghostbusters merchandise to offer up a bevy of giveaways. The prize giveaways are planned to include copies of Ghostbusters: The Video Game from Atari, print and e-guides for the video game from Prima Games, Ghostbusters: The Other Side trade paperbacks from IDW Publishing, “There Is No Dana, Only Zuul” T-shirts from Fright Rags, The Real Ghostbusters Volume 1 DVD set from Time-Life, and some items that Spook Central webmaster Paul pulled from his personal collection.

The contest runs from now until June 22, 2009.

Can I enter the contest?? I´m from Mexico, but I have a friend (he´s like a brother to me) who lives in California… may I use his address as mine and enter the contest?? I wanna any of the prizes for US and Canada residents!!!

Jay - The form should take all U.S. and Canada postal codes, but if I screwed up and didn't make the box wide enough, submit your entry and then e-mail me the correct postal code. When you enter you'll get an e-mail with your details, so you can just reply to that and give me the updated information that way.

yea the entering postal code thing doesnt work for me either.

I didn't realize that the form mail script I'm using was written expressly for U.S. zip codes which only contain numbers. Canadian postal codes contain numbers AND letters, and it's the letters that were getting stuck in the form's validation routine. I fixed it, and tested it out with a Canadian postal code, so it should work perfectly now for all Canadian addresses. At least I hope!

Please let me know if it works for you now. You might have to clear your browser cache in case it saved a copy of the old script.
