Well how about this you guys works on a kind a55 new logo for the film and ill take my time on the trailer lol and fix it up with footage from more movies and make it a bettter looking trailer overall?

We got a post already for a contest to design a new logo so just give us a little time.

A compeition has already begun… although the major change aside from the logo would be to use a more ‘colour correct’ version of the footage from End of Days as it looked like it was washed out, from a trailer…

agree with everything but the logo, changing it because you are sick of it just doesnt make sense to me. Many havent even seen the logo before and changing it on the trailer is just something i wouldnt plan to do.

That was an AMAZING trailer. I've been trying to do one for some time but never get to finish it before something happenss to my computer. Maybe when I get the program to do it and activate windows…lol.

That was actually a really good trailer, as Kingpin said, if you correct the color and mess with some of the images you chose, it would be REALLY good.

As for the GB3 logo, I personally am not sick of seeing it, I just think the 3 fingered no-ghost logo isnt really interesting or original in general, not much thought went into it at all, someone just took the logo from 2 and said

“hmmm, well its the third movie…. I GOT IT!!!” (adds another finger) “DONE!”

If you cant draw all that well or something like that, fine, go with it, but if you have access to another GB3 logo other than the three finger ghost, I think fans would much rather see something different than the same thing shoveled at us again…. much like most of the complaints about GB2.

Also, this did give me a great idea for an actual story and I think I'm gonna look into writing it if thats kool with you.

Reason i like the 3 finger logo is well i dont like it but people who are not huge fans i believe at least would know straight away if they saw that logo it was for Ghostbusters 3.

Wouldnt have to say under the logo Ghostbusters 3 because the 3rd finger of course sets that but i agree its very simple but to tell the truth thats what i like about it. As for the colours i have worked on a recut of it adding some moew clips and stuff but still isnt finished yet.

If we're talking members of the community who haven't seen it then I'm afraid I have to disagree.

But if we're talking people outside the community? I don't know, I doubt they'd really care if a ‘three finger’ logo was used. I'd say the original logo would be more of an impact to a crowd not expecting a new movie then a rather unoriginal adaption of the logo from the second movie. (*winston)

Im not saying if they care or not but changing the colour or logo to be totally different is well totally stupid just because of the simple fact not everyone is a huge Gb fan and giving that fact you have to play to the people who are not the big fans.

The fans will always be intrested because its a GB movie, Take Rocky for example now the ROCKY BALBOA trailer isnt anything special at all because it dosent do any justice for what the movie is really about and to most normal people on the street it just looks like another Rocky movie but in fact it will be totally different.

Thats what im getting at as confusing as it all may sound but Fans of GB sick of the 3 finger logo or not well doesnt really matter to me im sick of many things and i wouldnt change them because im sick of them. ALways go with what works best for all i feel and i believe the 3 finger logo is what works best because as you said people are sick of it meaning people know it as the GB3 logo.
