Same has happened with many hit films and their sequels. Last year, the media was flooded with the idea that Harrison Ford, George Lucas, and Stephen Speilberg were joining heads to create the FOURTH Indiana Jones film. Like Ghostbusters III, that project phase is dead, not only to the fact that it would be hard to do an action film with the aging Ford, but if people would be willing to see it. Arnold has signed to do Terminator III, but with the film moving from Canada to LA, it seems this is another popular series that will not see another movie. And then there is the possibility of it failing. GB and GB2 were made at the right times to make it profitable, but it has been thirteen long years since GB2, and with the failure of EGB, the possibility of a GB3 is only a dream. And if they do get around to it, will be another Godfather III and Jurassic Park III? Only the PKE meter can tell.
